Your data and choices

Privacy Policy

You can play WordiBop without creating an account. This policy explains the limited information used to run, understand, and support the site.

Who is responsible for this site

WordiBop.com is operated and published by Hamilton Digital Media Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 15608219, at 13a Mill Lane, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 1LN, United Kingdom. Hamilton Digital Media Limited is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can read more about the company and the people behind the puzzles on our about page.

Information kept on your device

WordiBop uses browser storage to remember things such as theme choices, game settings, statistics, streaks, completed puzzles, and personal best times. This game data normally stays in your browser and is not sent to WordiBop. You can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how visitors move around the site. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies where you have allowed them. We use this information in aggregate to improve the games and fix problems; we do not ask Google Analytics to identify you by name.

Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to fund the site by displaying advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, and information about visits to this and other sites to select, deliver, measure, and limit ads. Depending on your location and choices, ads may be personalised or non-personalised.

Google's explanation of advertising data is available at How Google uses cookies in advertising. You can also review advertising choices in My Ad Center.

Consent and privacy choices

WordiBop uses Google's AdSense Consent Management Platform (CMP). Where required, it asks whether Google and participating advertising vendors may use cookies and personal data for advertising and measurement. The CMP records and communicates your selection using the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Google Consent Mode keeps Analytics and advertising storage denied in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland until the CMP supplies your choice.

You can change or withdraw a previous choice with the Privacy and cookie settings control shown at the bottom of the site when the Google message applies to you.

Hosting and technical records

Our hosting provider may process basic request information, including IP address, requested URL, browser details, and timestamps, to deliver the site, keep it secure, diagnose faults, and prevent abuse. These operational records are retained according to the provider's security and retention practices.

Sharing, retention, and transfers

Information is processed by service providers only where needed for hosting, analytics, consent management, advertising, security, or legal compliance. Google and other advertising vendors set their own retention periods and may process information outside your country using the legal safeguards described in their policies. WordiBop does not sell a list of registered users because there are no player accounts or mailing lists on this site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Consent can be withdrawn at any time without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing.
