- Something is broken A grid that will not accept a word, a button that does nothing, a layout that has fallen apart on your phone. Tell us what you were doing when it went wrong. Email us about this →

What to put in a bug report
Puzzle bugs are slippery: by the time we read your message the grid you were looking at is gone, because every puzzle here is dealt fresh rather than stored on a server. Four things let us reproduce almost anything.
- The challenge link Most games have a share or challenge button that copies a link containing the puzzle itself. Paste that in and we get your exact grid, word or quotation — it is far and away the most useful thing you can send.
- Which game, and which page The address bar is enough. "The hard one on the word grid page" saves us a round trip compared with "your word game".
- Device and browser iPhone Safari, Android Chrome, Windows Firefox — a surprising number of layout and typing bugs live in exactly one of those.
- What you expected instead Sometimes the game is right and the rule is badly explained, which is our bug too — just a different one, and worth fixing either way.
Things we cannot fix from here
Two of these come up often enough to be worth saying plainly, and both are consequences of the site deliberately not having accounts.
- Lost stats, streaks and best times. They live in your own browser's storage and never reach us, so there is no copy for us to restore. Clearing site data, private browsing, or switching device or browser starts them over. The upside is the one described on our privacy page: we never hold them in the first place.
- Account problems. There are no accounts, passwords or mailing lists on WordiBop. If something claiming to be a WordiBop account email reaches you, it is not from us — forward it to us and we will say so publicly.
- Which advert you were shown. Ads are served by Google, not chosen by us. You can change what you are shown in My Ad Center — though if an ad on this site is genuinely offensive or broken, do tell us, because we can block categories.
How quickly we reply
We are two people rather than a support desk, so expect a day or two — a little longer at weekends and over holidays. Puzzle mistakes usually get fixed faster than they get answered: if you report a bad clue and the reply seems slow, the correction has often already shipped.
